Easter Fun

We had lots of fun this weekend with Aunt Mere. On Friday we went to church because we knew it would be less busy than going on Sunday. Karley was so "excited" that she kicked her poor Sunday school teacher and Kolton refused to leave without the teacher giving him an Easter egg. On Satuday we went to the arboritum to see all the flowers and the houses based on children's books. Karley was stubborn and would only do things on her schedule. Kolton loved the houses and didnt want to leave because he was dancing to the music.

Sunday was filled with Easter fun. We had an indoor egg hunt because it was raining outside. We decorated Easter eggs and made easter egg cookies. Karley thought they were finger lickin good. Mere even made us bunny pancakes for breakfast. We are about to have Easter dinner which mommy is probably going to burn because she has never made a turkey... So we will add more pics later. Flying Kites

This weekend was perfect flying kite weather. I had no idea Kolton and Karley would be so good at it. They both would run and then just stand and watch their kites fly. Of course Karley also got quite tangled up in hers and said, "Oh no Dora!" everytime her kite fell back to the ground. Who knew dollar store kites could be so entertaining.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the Bedford Boys Ranch Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday with our small group from church. Kevin was trying to give Kolton strategies to get the most eggs, but since Karley is better at cleaning up; i think she got more eggs than Kolton. After the egg hunt we made crafts and Kolton made bunny ears. Neither one of them would have anything to do with the easter bunny!
