N day

Who knew N day could be so exciting!! I was struggling for things to do that would be fun today. First we went outside to collect things that we would need to make a nest.

While on our hunt Kolton discovered something much for exciting... water in the street from peoples sprinklers. This 1/4 inch of water provided lots of entertainment.

They sat in the water

They dunked their heads in the water

They jumped in the water

They even laid down and put their faces in the nasty dirty water. After that is was off to a major bath and then we made no-bake cookies. Who knew a hunt for items for a nest could be so much fun!!

Monkeying around at Monkey Buisness

We had so much fun for M day. We went to Monkey buisness and McDonalds with Laura and Austin. Karley loved the tire swing (until a big kid knocked her off.)
They both fought over this car. Who knew cars were so exciting. Out of all the things to play with the car and the baby stroller were the hot items.

After Monkey Buisness it was off to McDonalds, you can't have M day with out Mcdonalds. After our outings we made monkies when we got home. Thanks so much to Laura for taking pictures for me. My camera is still recovering from its swim on Luau day!!

Luau Pics

Here are some pictures of our Luau party for L day. Although my camera took a swim at the Luau as well i was able to get some pictures off of it today after it dried out. Unfortunatly there is still water in it and it isnt taking good pictures anymore, but may it will keep drying out?!?!
Swimming with our mother's day out group from church. The kids loved it because the pool was only about 2-3 feet deep so they could play where ever they wanted

Thanks so much to Laura and Austin for coming along and keeping us company

Attack of the flies. There were flies everywhere. Kolton was freaking out everytime one landed on his food. Karley thought it was funny!

Letters J, K, L

Special thanks once again to Nikki to keeping the alphabet days going and doing J day while I was at work. Jelly bean Jello Jiggles

Jellyfish art

Letter J crafts
Unfortunately pictures from K and L day are not available. We had a luau for L day and Kolton was trying to be helpful and hand me my camera and my camera went for a swim at the Luau so it is full of water right now and the Luau pictures are as well. Maybe it will dry out, but it isnt looking very good!!

Father's day

We had a very busy father's day. The kids painted pictures for daddy and in return he got up early and drove to denton and picked up the kids a new playhouse. Thanks to those of you who sent money for Kolton's birthday. We used all the cash gifts to help purchase our new playhouse.
Big enough for daddy to get inside and play

Kevin spent all of naptime and into the non-daylight hours to build a stand for the play house to sit on. I dont have pictures of that yet, but hope to soon. Unfortunately Kolton thought our camera wanted to go for a swim so it is not working right now.

H and I Day

Strawberry icecream cones for breakfast (kolton will eat almost anything as long as you tell him it goes with that days letter. He ate 2 circle shapes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with carrots shaped like a cone for lunch.) I even tried to give him real icecream but he didnt want it he wanted another sandwich with carrots icecream. We went out last night for ice cream since it was I day and he wouldnt eat it. He just wanted to get a drink.
Karley on the other hand loves her icecream!

Kolton doing an alphabet igloo. He is matching all of the letter cut outs to the igloo.

Beach Party Playdate

Everything at our house has to have a theme thanks to the Kolton monster i created. SO today i told him we were having a backyard beach party with our friends. Specials thanks to all our friends who came over and had our fun beach party with us. (beach party definition: Sand, water, pails, shovels and some beach balls:)

All the kiddos in the water, Kolton, Karley, Julianna, Olivia and Austin.

Chillin out with a snack. Today everyone decided they like what was on someone elses plate better than their own even though everyones plate was the same.

I know it doesnt look like it, but Austin really liked the slide.

Where's my mom? Has anyone seen my mom?
Thanks for coming everyone. See you soon!

G Day

G day was yesterday. Sorry i am a day behind. I got distracted yesterday looking for new playground things online. G day was kindof low key. We ate grapes and made a groovy grade craft. Then we made Giraffes and watched diego saves the gorilla. Pretty calm day! Poor Kolton no matter how hard he tries.. he still looks silly in all his pictures :)

Letter F With Nikki

Today was letter F day. Special thanks to Nikki for babysitting and doing the letter F with the kids. I got home and Kolton said, "Mommy we did lots of activities today" He was so excited to show me his book and all the things he did with Nikki. They had French toast and fruit salad for breakfast, of course Kolton had to sing the fruit salad, yummy yummy song. They played with the farm and sang Old MacDonald and decorated their letters. Fish sticks and fish crackers were even ready for lunch when i got home.
Thanks Nikki they had lots of fun. Nikki does not disappoint, she even tooks pictures for me so i could see what they did and add them to the blog.

THANKS NIKKI!!

Happy Birthday Kolton!!

Here is a few picture's from Kolton's birthday. I hope to have some video of his birthday up soon as well. For those of you that couldnt make it Kolton's Birthday was at Bedford splash water park. He had so much fun and didnt want to leave. It was a very hot day, but the water definately helped. Thanks for all of our friends and family for making Kolton's 3rd birthday so much fun. Sorry he wouldnt open his presents at the party he was having way too much fun playing in the water. He barely had a bite of cake. I had to make him come blow out the candles. Thanks again to Nikki and Alexa for watching the kids for us. Kevin and I barely saw our kids at the party we were so busy. Thanks for all the gifts. We are beginning to explore them. I think Kolton already has a few favorites and Karley has already picked a favorite as well. We cant get her to put down the Diego car from Aunt Te Te.

Letters D and E

Unfortunately D day was rain day and we didnt get to do all the things we had planned because it was pouring. But daddy was nice enough to go get us donuts in the morning for breakfast. It rained too much for us to have lunch with daddy as well.

By the afternoon it was nicer and we got to have our dinosaur dirt snack and dig in our "dirt" (oreo pudding) until we found our dinosaur. Kolton wasnt sure he really wanted to eat it, but Karley dug right in! Kolton reluctantly decided to give it a try after Karley ate hers.
Then we went outside to rescue the dinosaurs from the sand. This time Kolton was very into it, but Karley did not want to play. She wanted to go down the slide and swim in the pool.
E is for excellent memory. We were supposed to wait until Monday to do E day. I told Kolton we were going to get ready for his birthday party today, but he reminded me that the sun went down and came back up and that made it a new day so it was E day. We ate eggs and made elephants and went to the mall with Matthew. Kolton was annoyed that Mall and Matthew didnt start with E, but he had fun anyway!

C is for Chick-fil-a and castle park

Today is C day. Kolton barely gets out of bed in the morning before he reminds me what letter it is today and asks me what we are going to eat that starts with C and what we are going to put on our letter C and hang them up so daddy can see them. Unfortunately i couldnt think of a healthy breakfast item that started with C (i should have bought some captain crunch cereal) instead we arraged our strawberries to look like a C (Kolton's idea of course) Today we went to chick-fil-a with laura and austin. Thanks to my crazy children Austin might be an only child. :) Then we went to the castle park and make caterpillars.

B is for Bonkers and Beach Party

Today is letter B day. It wasnt enough that we had Blueberries and Blueberry muffins for breakfast, we also had to make them into the shape of a Capital B first and then a lower case B second. I think Kolton should be a curriculum writer. He doesnt even let me do what i have planned. He changes up my activities. Here are some pics of our trip to Bonkers and our Beach Party!
